Korean designer Juun.J is well known to menswear fanatics but is still rare sight in Western stores. That situation is about to get a correction through 11 simultaneous pop-up stores located in 11 multibrand stores around the globe.

Dubbed The Global Pop Up Stores Project, the event will offer a special capsule collection created in collaboration with the American street artist Josh Luke, who is working with Juun.J for a third time.

Juun.J's Paris pop up store will be located at L'Éclaireur

From June 13 to July 6, the capsule will have a home at L'Éclaireur in Paris, 10 Corso Como in Milan, Opening Ceremony in New York and Los Angeles, Galleria in Seoul, Club 21 in Singapore, Lazy Hazy Planet in Tokyo, Joyce in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai, and the Marais in Melbourne. After the pop up stores close, the capsule collection (T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets bombers, backpacks and New Era caps) will be available in the Canadian e-shop Ssense and Juun.J's own online store.

The Korean designer's brand (member of the French Federation of menswear) was acquired by the conglomerate Cheil Industries (Samsung) in 2011. The brand’s collections have been part of Paris Fashion Week since 2007 and are now distributed in sixty stores in 33 countries. The designer is also stepping up his special collaborations, such as for the Korean cinema, and was commissioned by Hollywood in 2013 to design outfits for the movie "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.”
