Joining a retail line-up that also includes anchor tenant John Lewis and other aspirational brands such as Russell & Bromley, Aspinal of London, Hackett and Tommy Hilfiger, the store will open on 20 October 2016.

Joules will offer shoppers its full range of branded lifestyle clothing, accessories and homeware.

Andrea Gray, Retail and Shows Director at Joules commented: “We’re thrilled to be bringing our unique personality and style back to Leeds and shoppers in the area. The Victoria Gate scheme is an exciting new development that we’re delighted to be a part of.”

Set to transform the city’s premium retail, dining and leisure offer, Victoria Gate will become part of the new 53,400m2 (575,000 sq ft) Victoria Estate shopping district, which also includes Leeds’ Victoria Quarter arcades.

Robin Dobson, Director of Retail Development at Hammerson said: “Joules is a great addition to scheme’s retail offer and we are delighted that the brand has selected the scheme to open a new store in the city. The imminent launch of Victoria Gate with its new mix of brands will support Leeds’ ascent up the rankings as one of the best places to visit and shop in the UK.”

Victoria Gate will open its doors to the public for the first time on Thursday 20 of October.
