Joseph Altuzarra creates exclusive collection for Matchesfashion.com

Joseph Altuzarra, the New York-based designer, has teamed up with British luxury fashion retailer Matchesfashion.com on a new, exclusive collection of shirtdresses.

The collection, which launches in April, contains five of Altuzarra's signature shirt dress silhouettes, and is inspired by pieces from the designer's archive. Each dress has been reworked for spring in a variety of striped silks, chiffon and stretch wool. 

Joseph Altuzarra says, "I am thrilled to be collaborating with Matchesfashion.com on this project. The shirt dress is one of the signature pieces for Altuzarra, and I feel like the collection epitomizes the unique marriage of functionality, seduction and ease that Altuzarra represents."

The dresses retail from £980 and each is a limited edition. Natalie Kingham, Buying Director, Matchesfashion.com says: "Altuzarra offers a modern feminine aesthetic that has universal appeal. The shirt dress in its many guises has become a signature of his and this capsule collection is a showcase of his greatest hits."
