English fashion brand Jigsaw is the latest to announce an opening in King’s Cross as the area continues to attract top labels for its creative buzz and the constant traffic of fashion-conscious students and workers.

Jigsaw’s new store will be located in Three Pancras Square on King’s Boulevard, an emerging fashion and lifestyle destination near King’s Cross station. Nike opened a new shop on the street last year, and further tenant announcements are expected to follow in the coming months.

When it opens later this year, the new 2,500 sq ft Jigsaw store will take the label’s total number of UK locations to 87. The space is being designed by Checkland Kindleysides to have a contemporary aesthetic, with the fit-out making the most of the large, double-height space to present a gallery feel.

“King’s Cross is one of the most exciting developments I have witnessed in London. A wonderful hybrid of creativity, commerce, travel and education, fused into the ultimate residential location and Jigsaw had to be a part of it,” commented CEO Peter Ruis.

King’s Boulevard is expected to attract 17 million people by 2021, benefiting from its proximity to the station and leading art and fashion design institution Central St Martins.

Meanwhile, nearby shopping destination Coal Drops Yard is gearing up to open in 2018. The complex has recently signed fashion and lifestyle store 18montrose and is expected to further increase the area’s retail credentials.
