British fashion brand Jaeger opened on Thursday a new store on London’s Marylebone High Street.
The two-floor, 2,000 sq ft space features a contemporary interior design in tune with Jaeger’s design aesthetic and is divided into specific product areas to showcase the breadth of the AW16 collection.
Also launching in store is Jaeger’s latest casual offering, a collection of pieces inspired by the exuberant of 1960’s après ski wear. Designed for all off-piste activity, the collection includes monochrome ribbed knitwear, zip-off sleeve sweaters, knitted culottes, textured side-stripe leggings and a bright coral oversized jacket.
Witty design details such as sporty fastenings, linings and trimmings inject fun into the designs, while fabrics such as boiled wool, cashmere and bonded jersey give the collection a luxe feel.
The new store will also present the brand’s new packaging which has been recently redesigned to include a bold colour scheme inspired by Jaeger’s illustrious past.
Sheila McKain-Waid, Creative Director of Jaeger, commented: “We’re so excited to be opening a new store on Marylebone High Street. The area has such a great feeling of community and we’re delighted to be a part of that.”
The heritage label has 28 stores across the UK, including Chelsea, Edinburgh, Oxford, Cambridge, Belfast and Harrogate.
