Jacket Required partners with Trouva for AW18

Premium London trade show Jacket Required and online platform Trouva have joined hands for the Autumn/Winter season.

As part of the partnership, Jacket Required will present Trouva to key fashion retailers at its upcoming January show taking place at London’s Old Truman on 24-25 January.

A dedicated lounge will be added to the event, where buyers, brands and press will be able to hear more about the platform, how they can be involved and talk about becoming a Trouva store.

Bringing together more than 350 independent boutiques across 119 towns and cities online, Trouva is a growing online marketplace for fashion and lifestyle shoppers. The platform showcases more than 80,000 design-led products.

“Speaking with Trouva, it was immediately evident that we share many of the same qualities in terms of stores and labels that we work with, and there is opportunity to explore further how we can support our brands and buyers together,” said Mark Batista, founder of Jacket Required.

“Jacket Required hosts 300 selected collections under one roof, allowing retailers to catch up with existing suppliers and source new products in one place during the international buying calendar. And Trouva embrace this same model for the consumer. Trouva increases the visibility of smaller stores and in turn boosts sales, with the idea that you can shop your perfect independent high street online, putting together a shopping bag from selected stores across the country,” he said.

Jacket Required is a premium trade show hosting a carefully edited international line-up of contemporary menswear and womenswear. The event takes place over two floors at the Old Truman Brewery in East London.
