Italian footwear brand Casadei to open debut store in London

Italian designer brand Casadei is coming to London. The footwear brand, available until now only at Harrods and Selfridges, has signed a deal with landlord Trophaeum to open a standalone store in Mayfair.

According to the Evening Standard, the store will be situated at 48 Abermarle Street, which is also home to Aquazzura, Alexander Wang, Paul Smith and Faliero Sarti.

Matt Farrell, a director at Trophaeum who oversees the management of The Albemarle Estate, said to the newspaper: “Our leasing activity on Albemarle Street has gone from strength to strength, unfazed by Brexit, as we continue to attract world-class luxury brands, restaurateurs and art galleries on to the estate.”

Casadei is a favourite high heels brand for celebrities and has 16 flagship stores, a showroom in New York and several corners and shop-in-shops. To date, the business boasts of a growth rate of over 20% per year.
