As of October 31st, the textile company has 6,913 stores in 88 markets, 28 of which have their own online platform. In the past year Zara expanded its online business in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, while Zara Home arrived in Japan and Australia, marking the first Inditex e-shop to launch in the southern hemisphere. Further, Inditex’s Uterqüe, arrived in Sweden and Denmark.

Meanwhile, Massimo Dutti, Oysho, Pull&Bear and Stradivarius are already available in China through Alibaba’s e-commerce platform, TMall. According to Inditex CEO and Chairman, Pablo Isla, the group’s online offering in China is to be supported by an expansion scheme that includes the newly-opened stores in Beijing, Harbin and Hong Kong.

Last week the fashion giant revealed its results for the first three quarters of 2015, with net profits of 2.02 billion euros, representing a 20% increase on the prior year’s period.
