House of Fraser names new Chief Customer Officer

David Walmsley, former Director of M&S Digital, has been appointed Chief Customer Officer at British department store retailer House of Fraser.
In his new role, Walmsley will be responsible for House of Fraser's customer-centric approach, providing a single vision across all of the brand's channels to market. He will report to CEO Nigel Fraser. No start date has been provided yet.
Prior to his role at M&S, Walmsley was Director of eCommerce at Dixons Retail Group, and before that he was Head of Web Selling and Customer Services for John Lewis. Walmsley is also Governor at the Fashion Retail Academy and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA).
