Havaianas returns to Highcross with summer pop-up

After a successful pop-up store in 2016 at Highcross, flip-flop brand Havaianas is making a return to the Leicester shopping centre this summer.

Taking a 355-square-foot unit on the upper mall, the new Havaianas pop-up will be offering the brand’s full range of colourful flip-flops, plus other holiday accessories such as beach bags and towels.

When it opens later this month, Havaianas will trade alongside global beauty retailer L’Occitane.

“We see Leicester and Highcross shopping centre as a hugely important location for Havaianas; as the region’s leading shopping destination with great brand adjacencies and 17.5m annual visitors, it fits perfectly with our consumer demographic and brand positioning,” commented Richard Shetliffe, country manager.

Since launching in 1962, the Brazilian label has become synonymous with comfort and its footwear pieces can be recognised for their vibrant and fun designs. It is estimated that 150 million pairs of Havaianas sandals are made every year with the company’s soft rubber flip-flops being the most popular in the world.

Havaianas is available at several retailers across the UK and has stores in London, Cambridge, Brighton, Southampton, Norwich, Birmingham, Manchester and Reading.
