Scottish streetwear brand hanon and Swedish streetwear brand WeSC have bonded over their shared interest in skateboarding - as well as their roots in the Northern Hemisphere.

Together they've teamed up to create a men's capsule collection, consisting of performance and utility-inspired apparel and footwear. Hanon is based in the Scottish city of Aberdeen and drew inspiration for the line from its surroundings, "a landscape built almost entirely from granite and an ever changing Scottish climate," the brand said.

The collection comprises ten pieces, including an Italian melton wool coach jacket, Portugese shirting and jersey, and a tech inspired Ghillie brogue. It was manufactured in Europe and "up-specced" by WeSC, and features water resistant suedes, reflective laces and translucent prints throughout. This was meant to reference the countries' climate, while the wintry gloom and grey skies seen in both Sweden and Scotland were mirrored in the greyscale colour palette.

The streetwear references of both brands are also evident in the 5 panel caps, and a classic Watchman beanie. The collection launches on Saturday, January 23, exclusively at hanon.
