Hannah Miles is new creative chief at Global Licensing/Fashion UK

Licensed product continues to go from strength to strength and reflecting the buoyant market, Global Licensing and Fashion UK, have named Hannah Miles group creative director as part of their expansion strategy.

The two brands are specialist designers and manufacturers of licensed clothing with 22-year-old Global Licensing being a major player in the UK’s adult licensed clothing sector. Eighteen-year-old Fashion UK focuses on fashion forward kidswear. 

The two brands merged their operations only last year and have continued to serve the UK market while also breaking into international markets.

Miles will be part of this process with her past career including work across a number of licensed children’s products.
She was previously managing director at another licensed product specialist, Smith & Brooks, where she worked within product design for over 11 years. 

In her new role, she “will oversee Global Licensing’s new children’s daywear division, and pilot the new lines from Fashion UK.”

She will liaise with the group’s UK customers as well as those based in Europe “in order to forge designs that will cater for each individual market.”
