Gore-Tex at Kickers for winter 2011

Published
Sep 15, 2010

Companies, Kickers and WL Gore & Associates have just signed a partnership announcing the sale, within Kickers Winter 2011 collection, of Gore-Tex Footwear in major markets, U.S. and Europe.

"Initially we will focus our efforts on the French market where Kickers is present but the launch is also foreseen for Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Scandinavia, the Benelux, Poland and the U.S.", Jean Francois Bru, CEO of Kickers, and Arnaud Montfort, footwear account manager for WL Gore & Associates jointly announce.

Firstly, fifteen designs will be incorporated into Kicker’s Autumn-Winter 2011. The number of Gore-Tex pieces should then increase, while Kickers accelerates the brand’s internationalisation. "We are very optimistic about the promising future of this collaboration," indicated the two companies.

This announcement comes several weeks following the return of Kickers young age range lines, apparel for 2-16 years. The brand had already officiated in the area twenty years ago, before its acquisition by the Royer group. The revival of this clothing will be effective from the spring-summer 2011 collection, with an organic and a vintage line.
