Versace's latest advertising campaign is a hymn to unity, courage and hope.

"A protest campaign, calling for peace and recognising the yearning for connection we all have," - this is how Bruce Weber described the pictures he shot for Versace's Autumn/Winter 2017-18 ad campaign, styled by the Italian label's Creative Director Donatella Versace.

Top models Gigi Hadid, Mica Arganaraz, Taylor Hill and Vittoria Ceretti star in the campaign, wearing the collection's signature items, bearing messages that call for equality and trust. The photoshoot was studio-staged, so that the pictures' entire focus is on the message. Models Barry Lomeka, Barak Shamir, Filip Wolf, Saul Rodriguez and Alpha Dia also feature in the campaign.

"The campaign's message is clear, direct," said Donatella Versace. "It is about love and solidarity, something we are all in need of, irrespective of who we are and where we come from."

"After analysing with Donatella what is going on in the world today," said Weber, "we decided to portray people who are engaged in something worthwhile."
