Gap has partnered with Lion Coffee & Records for a pop-up space at its flagship store on Oxford Street, which will offer shoppers a cool place to relax, drink coffee and buy records from London up-and-coming artists.
Additionally, Gap revealed a special programme of weekly live performances from both established and emerging artists, including unplugged sessions and exhibitions.
Running until the 16th of April, the collaboration puts music back into Gap’s retail concept, which began in 1969 as a jeans and a vinyl records store. The Lion Coffee & Records unit will offer coffee provided by Shoreditch’s Allpress and food sources from local independent traders.
