Forever 21's Taco Bell collection arrives in the UK

Forever 21 has announced the UK launch of a clothing collection designed in partnership with fast food company Taco Bell.

Forever 21’s Taco Bell collection includes tops, bodysuits and hoodies with the famous graphics that each brand is known for.

Speaking about the collaboration, Ellen Gault, marketing leader at Taco Bell UK and Europe, said: “We often think of Taco Bell as ‘the fast fashion of food,’ so we knew the partner for our first-ever retail collaboration, had to be the leader in actual fast fashion. We believe this collection with Forever 21 is going to be everything our fans would expect from us in extending the Taco Bell lifestyle to fashion: original, affordable, creative, a little quirky and definitely fun.” 

“We are excited about this partnership with Taco Bell,” added Linda Chang, Forever 21 vice president of merchandising. “Food, like fashion, is driven by trends and culture. Merging fashion and food in this collection gives our customers a new way to experience both our brands.”

This is Taco Bell’s first venture into the fashion world, and could be seen as step towards establishing its logo as a pop-culture symbol in a similar way McDonald’s has done with its recent Beams collaboration. In fact, the fast food chain has gone even further and become somewhat of a fashion icon, with its menu items and logo referenced by Moschino in its Fall 2014 collection.

 The Taco Bell collection is available now online and in stores.
