For Tous, Mexico is the largest retail market in Latin America

The country's new shopping centers and department stores, as well as its growing luxury goods' sales, have led Mexico to become the largest retail market of Tous in Latin America.

The co-chairwoman and creative director of the jewellery brand, which landed in Mexico in 2011, said: “We filled a niche by standing out with a clear luxury positioning. At the time, our success was driven by bringing jewellery to a wider audience and now, we combine our artisan tradition with technological advances to offer more than 30 collections of jewellery and 50 collections of bags a year."

According to its creative director, Tous totalled 371 million euros (around 272 million pounds) in global sales at the end of 2014, up 10% from the previous year and doubling its online sales’ figures.   

This year, Tous was identified as one of the 100 largest luxury goods companies around the world in the report Global Powers of Luxury by Deloitte.
