Feelunique continues to expand in France. The British beauty website will open from 27th November to 13th December its first Parisian pop-up store in rue Vieille du Temple, and has recently acquired for an undisclosed sum the French perfumery chain Rive Droite

Rive Droite was founded in 1986 and distributes brands such as Chanel, Hermès, Guerlain, Estée Lauder, Crème de la Mer, Serge Lutens and Atelier Cologne. The chain operates four stores: in the French capital at avenue Marceau, and in the Paris area at Levallois-Perret, Boulogne-Billancourt and Neuilly-sur-Seine. In the coming months these stores will turn into Feelunique stores. On the other hand, the current director of Rive Droite perfumeries, Fabrice Rimbault, will become Director of Operations for Feelunique France.

"France is already a key market for Feelunique and has huge potential, especially online. The acquisition of Parfumeries Rive Droite gives us a perfect combination: a small number of retail outlets located in strategic venues and a team of experienced personnel, ideal to expand our business and offer French consumers our best service," said Joël Palix, former CEO of Clarins, who took charge of the British website in January 2014.

Feelunique.com was launched in 2005 and brings together 400 brands with nearly 20,000 items, covering skincare, make-up, haircare and fragrance. The website is translated into French since 2013. It generates a revenue of nearly €100 million, two-thirds of which in the UK, and is present in about one hundred countries. Feelunique.com was created in the Channel Islands, where it operates a few physical stores.
