FatFace appoints new head of licensing

British fashion and lifestyle retailer FatFace has announced that Gabrielle Sims has joined its team as its new head of licensing.


She was most recently licensing director at international production powerhouse IMG, where she spent over three years. Prior to that, she held several roles at independent brand licensing agency Fluid World, including head of brand and retail, and spent more than five years at The Licensing Company.

“There is no better time to join FatFace. I have some exciting plans to extend into new and relevant categories. With a brand that has such a unique handwriting and core DNA this will be an absolute joy and creative bliss to work on,” said Sims.

“Having a fantastic retail store base and online platform, it will be an added bonus for licensees.”

FatFace, a retailer focusing on casual fashion, has more than 200 stores is the UK and Ireland, located in market towns, holiday locations, shopping centres and busy high streets, as well as an e-commerce website offering worldwide delivery.
