Organic cotton t-shirts, sweet summer dresses and a range of chinos are showcased at the new shop alongside the Copper and Black occasionwear range, made using Liberty London fabrics.

Situated adjacent to H&M Kids, Laura Ashley, Waterstones and Tessutti, the space introduces the FatFace brand and its sustainable spirit to the area. The brand was founded in 1988 and has become a successful multi-channel retailer with over 200 stores both in the UK and the US.

“We’re delighted to welcome FatFace to intu Metrocentre,” said Ben Cox, senior asset manager for Intu. “Our customers have been seeking their arrival for some time and it’s fantastic to see the opening ahead of summer 2018. They join a great existing line-up of quality fashion and lifestyle retailers at Platinum Mall and we’re sure FatFace will prove to be a successful addition to the mix.”

Intu Metrocentre is Europe’s largest covered shopping centre, housing popular brands such as Primark, Topshop, Cath Kidston, House of Fraser, JD Sports, Lipsy and Quiz.

Gavin Prior, regional centre director at Intu Metrocentre said: “The Platinum Mall creates the perfect opportunity for aspirational brands to benefit from Intu Metrocentre’s unique position as Europe’s largest covered shopping centre and 23 million annual visitors.

“We’re confident that the addition of the FatFace brand to our existing offering will enhance the shopping experience for our customers and prove a popular choice for discerning, fashion conscious shoppers.”
