Dutch fashion chain Supertrash, which went bankrupt in March, will relaunch. A group of anonymous investors has acquired the stocks and inventory of the label’s five own stores as well as the intellectual property rights.

According to media reports, the group of investors will operate under the name ST.Art BV. The company has been established especially for the relaunch of the fashion chain and will involve the Supertrash stores in Breda and Roermond. The future of the stores in Laren, Utrecht and Arnhem is still being looked into.

Supertrash was led by Olcay Gulsen, who imported Supertrash into Europe in 2009 and acquired the company a year later. On 26 February she stepped down as CEO of the fashion chain. At the time, Gulsen cited that she wanted to focus on her television career, but that she would remain involved with the label as creative consultant. A month later, the brand announced its bankruptcy.

During its peak, Supertrash operated 1,600 points of sale internationally and 30 brand stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Hong Kong and employed about 120 people. At the time of its bankruptcy, the fashion chain had about 60 employees.
