Fashion Access: Louisa Köber and Claire Laurent honored

Fashion Access, the Hong Kong fashion fair showcasing luggage and leather accessories, has put on its fifth Design a Bag contest. It announced winners on its first day: Monday, March 31. The international exhibition awards 6 prizes honoring the 3 best professional and 3 best student designers, including the category “Best of overall”.

Anneli Alton won the Super Urban Fashion category.


The 10-member jury included Stéphane Foullon, Asia managing director at Le Tanneur, Suzanne Marest, vice president of the comité français de la couleur and Jayne Esteve Cure, APLF fashion advisor and event organizer for Fashion Access and APLF - MM&T. This time they awarded top honors to Laurent Claire of France and Louisa Köber of Germany.

Claire’s “Sailing Bag” also won in the Eco Friendly student category, while Köber’s “Maki Weekender” additionally took home the Urban Super Fashion award for a designer.

Other winners included two Estonian students: Anni Ansmann who won in the Nightlife Super Fashion category and Anneli Alton who prevailed in the Superior Urban Fashion category.

In the designer division, Wong Wing Lung Anode from Hong Kong won Nightlife Super Fashion, and Maria Paula Falcão Leão from Lima came away with the Eco-friendly Fashion award.
