Ellen DeGeneres and Bergdorf Goodman in partnership for a pop-up store

The American comedian and television host is temporarily partnering with the luxury goods department store Bergdorf Goodman to launch a pop-up fashion store.

From September 8 through 30, Ellen DeGeneres will be displaying her new brand "ED by Ellen Decorative Home" on the seventh floor of Bergdorf Goodman at a pop-up store. The ED website was launched in June and, within 24 hours, many of the items were sold out. Now, DeGeneres is taking the next step and bringing her brand into the physical world and onto literal shelves.

Bergdorf Goodman is familiar with pop-up store designer partnerships. Previous temporary collections have included Chanel, Missoni Home and Alexander Wang.

While the collaboration was conceived as a September-only project, Josh Schulman, President of Bergdorf Goodman, hasn't ruled out the possibility of an extension.
