A touch of culture to celebrate a thirtieth birthday cannot hurt. For its anniversary, Dockers, the sister brand to Levi's specialised in chinos, has created a capsule collection all in sand colour.

"The term 'khaki' comes from the Hindi and Urdu words meaning 'earth' and 'dye powders'. We retained this word in homage to the trousers created in 1846 by Sir Henry Lums in India: he dyed his cotton pyjama trousers using a plant extract (the mazari palm), in order to create an outfit more suited to the local climate than his traditional red felt trousers."

The line, dedicated to men, hovers between a classy adventurer's style and a relaxed chic look. It features a trench coat, khaki trousers, cargo pants and shorts, as well as jackets, sweaters, shirts and accessories, together with a leather goods collection.

The line has already been presented in the USA and is available at Harvey Nichols. It will be on sale in France exclusively at the Printemps Haussmann department store in Paris until April 17th.
