Desigual forms new board of directors

Published
Sep 9, 2014

This summer the investment company Eurazeo took a 10% stake in Desigual. As a direct result, according to Spanish media Economiadigital, the Spanish brand has formed a new board to support its president Thomas Meyer and its COO Manel Jadraque.

For its part, Eurazeo has chosen deputy CEO Virginie Morgon and Tieleman Frans, a member of the French investment firm’s executive committee.

Three European managers have also joined the team. Marcello Bottoli is the former CEO of Louis Vuitton and Samsonite, interim CEO of the Danish jeweler Pandora from 2011-2012, and currently serves as a partner at Advent International.

Javier Ferran also joined the board. Image ABF.

Pierre Cuilleret, co-founder of The Phone House has worked for the past 9 nine years at the retailer Micromania and has previously served as director of Dia in Spain.

Finally, Javier Ferran is a regular on boards. The former president of Orangina-Schweppes, he was vice chairman and director of William Grant & Sons until April. Since 2006, he has been a non-executive director for Associated British Foods (Primark).
