Designer Jessica Minh Anh transforms Eiffel Tower into catwalk

Published
Oct 21, 2014

Originally from Vietnam, Jessica Minh Anh, the head of her own events company J Model Management, promotes young fashion designers by putting on spectacular shows held in some of the world’s most iconic locations.

Following fashion events held atop Tower Bridge in London, at the One World Trade Center, before it was open to the public, at the Grand Canyon Skywalk in Arizona, and the highest fashion show in the world held on the Petronas Towers Skywalk, Minh Ahn will now set up a 500 foot catwalk on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower for a show on October 31.

The event will serve as a means to challenge the traditional norms of fashion shows while presenting 120 pieces from young designers from Asia, Europe and America. Among them: an Arab delegation with Naseem Dar AlAndalos, Bahreïn’s powerhouse brand, merging French and Moroccan culture; Debaj, from Qatar, who revisits Islamic Abayas; and OM Fiore, known for its embroidery.

Also not to miss: Vietnamese designer Hoang Hai, known for his creative cuts and use of beads; Danish designer Beinta Poulsen from Soul Made, known for its knitwear; Canadian Sho Sho Esquiro; and young American designer Kate Walz.

To assist the designer in the event, the Before Beauty Bar will be responsible for hairstyles and makeup. The show will also have the support of Unexpected, Fridja and Elite Marketing in London.
