The move is part of a new partnership between service provider Dropit and property development company Capco, the owner of Covent Garden.

The service will help shoppers indulge in retail therapy without having to carry heavy bags. By purchasing a £10 Dropit ‘day pass’, shoppers can drop unlimited shopping bags in any partner store and have them later delivered directly to their home.

Depending on the time of purchase, deliveries can be arranged for next or same day.

Kelly Scott, head of partnerships at Dropit said: “We are delighted to be in partnership with Capco to put us on the map in another prominent shopping hub in London. Working with a property owner like Capco cements our value proposition as a must-have service that’s quick and easy for retailers to implement and more importantly delivers results.”

The company said more than 100 retailers are now participating in the scheme, including Liberty London, M&S, GAP, Uniqlo, Urban Outfitters, Barbour, Coach, Lacoste, Moss Bros and Stuart Weitzman.
