Chanel to tell its story in new London exhibition

Chanel is set to take center stage in London this autumn, with the opening of a new exhibition at the city's prestigious Saatchi Gallery.

"Mademoiselle Privé" is set to offer an 'enchanted voyage' through the history of the iconic French fashion house. It will span the brand's long and celebrated relationship with couture and the story behind the legendary perfume Chanel No 5.

It will also shine the spotlight on the famous 'Bijoux de Diamants' haute joaillerie collection which was designed in 1932 by Coco Chanel (real name Gabrielle) he


The UK is also currently hosting "Yves Saint Laurent: Style is Eternal", a look at the famous French fashion designer's vision and its lasting influence on modern womenswear featuring 50 of his most iconic garments including rare pieces from his time at Dior. The show is currently taking place at the Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle, County Durham.

"Mademoiselle Privé" will run from October 13 - November 1.
