SAO PAULO, July 15 (Reuters) - Brazilian cosmetics maker Natura (NATU3.SA) said late on Wednesday 15 July its shareholders may raise as much as 1.57 billion reais ($811 million) from the sale of shares in a secondary offering.

Shareholders Antonio Luiz da Cunha Seabra, Guilherme Peirao Leal, Pedro Luiz Barreiros Passos, Anizio Pinotti e Ronuel Macedo de Mattos plan to sell 49.38 million shares, according to the prospectus of the sale.

The offering may rise by 7.41 million shares if underwriters exercise their option to sell additional shares to meet demand. Natura shares gained 4.9 percent on Wednesday 15 July, closing at 27.6 reais. ($1=1.936 reais)
