Inditex-owned Bershka is opening its first store in Wales at the St David’s shopping centre in Cardiff.

The brand’s first Welsh store will occupy more than 11,000 square feet of the mall’s 1.4 million square feet on Upper Grand Arcade, with a unit adjacent to H&M’s regional flagship. Expected to launch soon at the shopping centre, it will offer a selection of trend-led clothing, footwear and accessories for men and women.

Bershka’s arrival will follow that of its sister brand Stradivarius in April. Both brands form part of Inditex’s brand portfolio alongside Zara, Massimo Dutti and Oysho.

Speaking on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, a joint venture between Landsec and Intu, Colin Flinn, regional managing director, commented: “The status of St David’s as the region’s leading fashion destination is further enhanced by the signing of international brand Bershka.  Upper Grand Arcade continues to attract leading names in fashion and we look forward to welcoming Bershka into a trend-setting space with which the brand is synonymous.”

St David’s also attracted Daniel Wellington’s first UK store outside London. Spreading over 430 square feet, the regional store stocks the brand’s range of timepieces, which are ubiquitous on Instagram thanks to partnerships with high-profile influencers.

Also having a presence at the mall are SallSaints, Cath Kidston, H&M, FatFace, Reiss and The White Company.
