Basil Soda’s creations were on display on Sunday 13 December at the Grey Goose Character & Cocktails Winter Fundraiser for Sir Elton John's AIDS foundation at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Both R’n’B singer Kelly Rowland and model Natalie Suliman wore dresses from the experienced designer to a prestigious event which had Sir Elton John himself as its main performer.

Ms Rowland chose a gorgeous navy silk gown with sequin details down the front and coordinating bolero from Basil Soda’s autumn-winter 2009/2010 collection, whilst Ms Suliman opted for an emerald silk dress, also from the designer’s autumn-winter 2009/2010 collection.

This was just the latest event for Basil Soda’s, who, after 15 years of in the world of haute couture, founded his own fashion house in Beirut in 2001. Basil Soda is now making his mark across Europe and the United States with designs that redefine simplicity to fashion and structure distinct moods. Form, symmetry, shape, and the relationship between points, curves, lines and angles all come together to create a mélange of feminine allure. Other celebrities that are fans of the line include Christina Applegate, Katy Perry, Emily Blunt, and Marcia Cross.
