BFC reveals names of Style Award nominees

The British Style Award 2015 will, as always, be decided by the public, and the British Fashion Council has just released a list of the nominees.

The six men and women nominated "epitomise the very best of British style," the BFC says. They are actors Benedict Cumberbatch CBE, Daniel Craig, Eddie Redmayne OBE, Emily Blunt, Gwendoline Christie, Naomie Harris, Sam Claflin and Sienna Miller, singers FKA Twigs and Florence Welch, rapper Tinie Tempah, and artist Grayson Perry CBE.

The award will be given to the person "who most embodies the spirit of British fashion and serves as an international ambassador, promoting London as a leading creative fashion capital." Previous winners rs include Emma Watson (2014), Harry Styles (2013) and Alexa Chung (2012 & 2011).

Voting is now open and closes at midnight on October 28. The results will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 23. Voters must register on the website.
