The list is based on the billions of actions taken by LinkedIn members after analysing behaviours such as engagement with the company’s employees, interest in the company, job demand and employee retention.

The research found that Asos was the most popular employer on its platform, with potential candidates interested in working at the fashion e-commerce company for its rewards system. The company increased its headcount by 30% last year, and is looking to hire a further 1,000 employees in 2018.

Asos was followed by the BBC and McKinsey & Company, while luxury goods group Richemont, owner of Cartier, Chloé and Jaeger-LeCoultre took the fourth spot. The company employs over 29,000 people worldwide and employees receive a two-day induction at the firm’s headquarters in Bellevue, Geneva.

Kering, which controls fashion brands including Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Balenciaga, rounded out the top five. The luxury group increased its headcount by 8% in 2017, and is currently focused on boosting its HR and IT teams.

Selfridges Group ranked 11th and L’Oréal, 14th. The beauty company has more than 82,000 employees worldwide and filled over 13,600 positions last year.
