Art, which celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year with an anniversary collection launched this spring, has launched a monochrome, i.e. black, range of shoes at the Panorama trade fair in Berlin.

The Spanish shoemaker has indeed decided to offer entirely black versions of leading models from its collection. A capsule, called Black Line within the company, that will be renewed every fall.

A purely black range of shoes

In total, the range includes 24 models, more than two thirds of which are for women. Jorge Hernandez, Sales and Marketing Director of Art, feels that 2014 was a lot better for the company than 2013. Art saw its sales rise 4% last year, compared to a stable year in 2013.

"For spring 2015, our pre-orders jumped 19%! In France, Germany, Spain and the UK we are making progress. In Italy and Switzerland, it's more complicated," he specified.

With Neosens, another brand from the company, The Art Company generates some 20 million euros in revenue.
