Andrea Morante the new President of Sergio Rossi

Published
Jan 5, 2016

Andrea Morante has joined Italian footwear manufacturer Sergio Rossi as President. Until the end of 2015 he was the CEO of Italian jewellery company Pomellato, part of the Kering group.

Andrea Morante has taken over the presidency of Sergio Rossi straight after the label's acquisition by the Investindustrial investment fund, owned by Italian businessman Andrea Bonomi.

The latter is planning a major expansion of the footwear brand. Some sources even indicate that as much as €100 million will be made available for the brand's relaunch.

According to analysts' estimates, Sergio Rossi's revenue is reported to have fallen from €99 million in 2004 to €83 million in 2014, without generating a profit.

Andrea Morante, who spent part of his career at Crédit Suisse, will thus be able to enjoy putting to good use in his new role all of his talent as business healer!
