This is the first time seventy-year-old South Korea-based Amorepacific has opened a pop-up shop. Brands in the assortment include Amorepacific, Laneige, Annick Goutal, Sulwhasoo, Mamonde and Lope. The pop-up shop is also the first time these brands have been showcased in the same space together.

Jessica Hanson, President of Amorepacific US said in a release, "We're thrilled to open our pop up here in New York City and give consumers the opportunity to experience our leading brands in one location."

Amorepacific partnered with Marie Claire magazine on the store which opened this week. To celebrate the opening of the space, Amorepacific held an exclusive conversation on Korean beauty and skincare that was led by Hanson. Other panelists included Marie Claire Executive Beauty Editor Jennifer Goldstein, and Chief Curator of Soko Glam Charlotte Cho.

Nancy Berger, Marie Claire VP/publisher and chief revenue officer, spoke of the link between Amorepacific and her magazine's Global Beauty platform which aims to introduce its readers to international beauty products, ingredients and technologies.
