Adidas launches 'Day One', a collection inspired by running and active wear

For the autumn Adidas has launched 'Day One', a new men's capsule collection halfway between lifestyle and performance wear, dedicated to the 'contemporary nomad'. The first part of the collection is inspired by running, the second will feature outdoor wear.

After introducing a series of collaborations with a broad range of labels and designers, the German sports outfitter intends to "explore and celebrate a new aspect of its DNA," positioning the 'Day One' collection between sports and leisure wear. The leitmotif is "performance for the everyday", and the line is targeted to the premium segment.

The line consists of about fifteen men's models with a classic, minimalist style, in grey, olive, black and camo hues. As for the future, Adidas is planning to introduce also jackets, raincoats, bomber jackets, tee-shirts, sweatshirts and sneakers. Prices range from €89 for a tee-shirt, to €139 for a pair of leggings and between €249 and €389 for a jacket.

The running collection is available from 14th October, while the outdoor range will be on sale in November at selected Adidas stores and on the brand's e-shop.
