Acne Studios opens third New York City store on Madison Avenue

Acne Studios this month opened its third New York City location on 926 Madison Avenue, marking the brand’s first retail location in Upper Manhattan.

 
The 2,000-square-foot store was designed by British interior designer Max Lamb. The Acne store is the only retail location to feature gold aluminium metal walls, which are complimented by gold shelves, racks, benches, tables, and display cases, and are contrasted by black asphalt floors and pillars. The interior is finished with custom rugs and bronze furniture.
 
The Madison Avenue boutique currently houses the Swedish brand’s fall 2016 men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, accessories and denim.

Acne opened its second New York City location in the West Village in December 2015 -- its third store in the US joining an additional location in New York City and a West Coast store in Los Angeles.

The Swedish fashion label announced in March plans to open a new store in San Francisco, which will be its fifth store in the US.
