24-hour textile-printing studio opens in London

A new textile print studio has opened in London, Peckham to provide textile designers, students and enthusiasts access to an affordable space 24 hours a day.

Created by designer graduate Michelle Smith, after noticing the lack of affordable open access textiles studios in London, Design ME Textiles aims to provide a space for both established designers and beginners to print, learn and be inspired.

The studio facilities include screen-printing, dye and digital fabric printing equipment, and workshops will be held weekly teaching participants different textile printing techniques.

 Monthly memberships are available in four different options, including a ‘pay as you go’ option, and range from £50 per month to £150 per month. 

Members include menswear designers Alex Mullins and Liam Hodges.
