Upmarket department store Liberty has kicked off its new “All Eyes On Liberty” campaign with the transformation of its Regent Street windows into a multi-media collage. Developed in collaboration with esteemed photo, film and collage duo Gus and Stella, the windows combine 3D and 2D props, digital animation and animatronics to highlight the retailer’s February assortment.

The department store has transformed its Regent Street windows as part of its new campaign - Liberty

Liberty’s Head of Visual Identity Liz Silvester says: “Our latest campaign has gone against the norm of producing clean and minimalistic January windows, with a busy, fun and somewhat daring approach. We have successfully presented an insight into Liberty through the ages by incorporating highlights from Liberty in the past, present and some of the unique characteristics that have always made this store so special.”

The window campaign draws inspiration from Liberty’s past, present and future, and uses some of the store’s famous advertisements from the 1950’s and 60’s to bring the products to life. Exaggerated and oversized products have been recreated into 2D cut-outs, alongside digital screens, rotating and oscillating features and papier mache 'Franz West' inspired 3D lips.

The installations, unveiled on Friday and running until February 22, display some of Liberty’s collaborations from 2015, trademark products and its latest Spring/Summer 2016 Artist Collection prints and scarves.
